Hydrate more than usual, dehydrate less than usual. Bring your favorite water cup for the trip! Look out for signs of altitude sickness: headaches and nausea. Feeling puffy is common. The closest grocery store is Sprouts, which is a three-minute walk from the hotel. Grab a case of water, some hydration supplement, snacks, and some Boost Oxygen (you can't fly with these).
There are shuttles and buses from Denver Airport to Boulder If you're renting a car, keep in mind (especially on the return home) that the rental car lots are outside of the airport, so build in some extra time for that. It's about a 45 min drive to the hotel from the airport, which includes tolls. Parking at the hotel is paid-for parking. For parking around town and **at the ceremony, download the ParkMobile app
The photographer has been asked to capture guests' arrival and moments and candids of guests throughout the ceremony. We do not want cell phones in pictures. Leave them in the car and if you need to take pictures, do it after the professional ones are wrapped up.
We are doing a group rainbow pic at the end of the ceremony, as well as some other group photos, so we ask that you wear solid colors to the ceremony. Ladies - date-night casual dresses, maxis, jumpers, skirts with flats, wedges, or block heels. It may be tough to walk around in certain heel types at the venue. Gentlemen - date-night casual polos, button downs, and sport coats (if you'd like). No denim, tie optional. No tennis shoes or flip flops, please.
You are not required to attend ANYTHING but the ceremony and reception, this is your vacation too! Feel free to explore some hiking in the area (we strongly encourage downloading AllTrails) or check out Pearl Street Mall, close by. If you want any pointers, let us know! It is rain season so expect some light, afternoon showers or thunderstorms throughout the week. Nature.
