Some of the best bagels in all of Atlanta. Highly, highly recommend their everything bagel with whatever topping you love. We have spent many a morning enjoying a warm bagel and giant coffee here, often after walking from Meghan's previous apartment!
While it will definitely be hot in August, Piedmont Park is one of our favorites and had to be included! Meghan used to live in an apartment overlooking the park, and spent tons of time walking, running, having picnics, and enjoying this beautiful green space. For their third date, Chase + Meghan enjoyed a charcuterie board (Chase's specialty) and Aperol Spritz while watching the sunset. It's a great spot for an afternoon walk - and make sure to get a King of Pops popsicle if you see their cart!
An Atlanta staple (and the location of Meghan + Chase's second date!), the Georgia Aquarium is the largest aquarium in the US and definitely worth a visit. Meghan's favorite exhibit is the Arctic - with the beluga whales + sea otters, and Chase likes the classic Ocean Voyager with the whale sharks!
We went here on our first date - so it holds a special place in our hearts. While their food is great, we prefer to enjoy a cocktail, beer, or glass of wine on their "rooftop." Just fair warning that it can get crowded at popular times on the weekend!
The Southeast’s most renowned art museum, the High is home to more than 17,000 pieces of American, European, African, decorative and folk art, plus photography and contemporary works. One of our favorite spots for a "day-date" in Midtown!
Krog Street Market, nestled in the heart of Inman Park, is a food hall housed in a restored factory. We both love Makimono (the sushi spot), where Chase gets a Lambada roll with jalapeno and Meghan gets the Pink Lady roll. Gu’s Dumplings is one of the 17 Best Chinese Restaurants in America, and their Pork Zhong Style Dumplings live up to the title!
One of our favorite Italian restaurants in Atlanta, with an adorable outdoor courtyard and delicious pasta! We celebrated our first Valentine's Day here, and have been back many times. Chase loves the cacio e pepe and Meghan loves the tagliatelle alla bolognese - oh and their espresso martinis are to die for!! Highly recommend making reservations!
While it is a bit...raunchy..., The Vortex has some of the best burgers in the city. A 21+ establishment all day every day, they're known for their burgers, beer & whiskey selection & offbeat, rock 'n' roll vibe. Oh and they have a comedy club (The Laughing Skull) in the back room - tickets are required, but what's better than a burger and a comedy set?!?
