One of several breweries in town, and where we went for our first date! Big and spacious, with a great outdoor patio. Kid-friendly (there's root beer on tap!). You can get chips/salsa, pretzels etc, but no food menu. However you can order delivery from any local restaurant and eat in the taproom. We recommend ordering the Rubens from Corktown!
In the spirit of celebrating love, we'd be remiss to not tell you about our favorite ice cream shop in town. Dairy-free, vegan, Gluten-free, and good old fashioned dairy... everyone will have happy bellies here. Personal favorites are any of the honeycomb ice creams, salted caramel, and mango sorbet.
Hop on the boardwalk at a number of points right in town, and even directly from Fitgers. Take the path into Canal park and check out some of Duluth’s cute shops and restaurants.
Plenty of shops and restaurants to fill up a half day of exploring. Some of our favorites are the Blue Heron kitchen store, Amazing Grace cafe for coffee and sandwiches, and Northern Waters Smokehouse for some of the best smoked fish you’ll ever have. Head towards the bridge to watch ships enter the port. Just don’t say we didn’t warn you about the very social seagulls!
