We're getting married!

If you know either one of us, you probably also know one of our siblings, because it's in good part thanks to them that we're all celebrating on June 3. For the last 10 years, Megan lived in Chicago and NYC, moving back home to Duluth after her office went remote in during the first summer of the pandemic. Pat went to college in town and stayed for work, buying a house and staying busy being an awesome uncle and helping friends and family. We each have one brother and for several years, they'd nudged us both separately to try and set us up. Turns out, Megan's move home was just the right timing to finally meet. While we attempted to keep things on the DL from our siblings, it only lasted about 4 hours and from our first date (outdoors and with masks!) at Bent Paddle, the rest was history. Perhaps you're trying to figure out all the family connections now --don't worry, we get asked a lot! What you need to know: It all begins with three sets of siblings... The Keogan boys The Sertich girls A Miller boy and a Miller girl Megan's brother, Pat Miller, is married to Abby Sertich (now Miller) Pat's brother, Mike Keogan, is married to Rachel Sertich (now Keogan) And very soon, Megan Miller and Pat Keogan will be married! Alternatively, we also say, "Our brothers are married to sisters." Another interesting fact? This means that Megan's niece and nephew are cousins with Pat's niece and nephew (our sweet ring bearers and flower girls!) (And yes, you read correctly, there ARE 2 Pats in this web of in-laws!) We feel super lucky to have gained a bonus family in our little web and love getting to live close by all of our siblings and our nieces and nephews. Life got a lot sweeter once we finally were in the same place long enough to fall in love!
