Maid of Honor | Cousin of the Bride
Growing up, Taylor and I always joked that God made us cousins because our parents couldn't handle us as sisters. For as long as I can remember we've had a promise that we would be each other's maid of honor. From wearing matching outfits to Disney World as toddlers, through attending our first concert together in middle school (the Jonas Brothers!), to college tailgates, and all the life in between, we've been through every season together. Taylor has always been one of the most loyal, loving people in my life, and I feel so lucky to have her standing by my side at my wedding!
Best Man | Friend of the Groom
Nick is that friend that always comes in clutch with a laugh, a listening ear, or amazing advice at exactly the right time. He always been that to me since college. I'm so honored to have him stand next to me as my best man. Be prepared to hear vague references that have turned into inside jokes between us.
Maid of Honor | Sister of the Bride
Alyssa is truly one of the smartest, most creative, and most hard-working people I know! Even though I am the older sister, she is always inspiring me. As we've grown up, Alyssa has easily grown into one of my very best friends and I am forever cherishing that she is in Ann Arbor with me and that we share being Michigan Wolverines together. She's the one I call whenever I need encouragement or just somebody to listen, I'm truly blessed to call her my sister.
Bridesmaid & Groomsmen | Sister & Brother-in-Law of Groom
Sabrina has always been an incredible source of support, love, and inspiration to me as my older sister, and she and Jerez, my brother-in-law, have shown us an amazing example of how to build a strong marriage and start a family. Jerez, Sabrina, and Naomi are a beautiful family that is grounded in faith which Megan and I are striving to have one day. Megan and I always cherish spending time with them in their home in Windsor with their daughter, our flower girl, Naomi!
Groomsmen | Brother of the Bride
Nate and I were friends before we were siblings! Our parents got married when we were in college, but even though we became siblings later in life, we built a genuine bond as brother and sister. It has been so wonderful to watch Nate grow so much these past few years from graduating college and starting his career to getting married himself to our fabulous sister-in-law, Faith. We couldn't imagine our day without him! Jonathan and Nate quickly bonded over all things sports, Marvel, and more and Jonathan is excited to be gaining a friend and a brother in Nate. Pictured above with his wife and my sister-in-law, Faith.
Bridesmaid & Groomsmen | Friends of the Bride and Groom
Elizabeth and I met through work and she quickly become one of my best friends. What started as a weekly tradition of watching The Bachelor together quickly grew into a special friendship - in fact, I was spending so much time at her house, we decided I should just move in and we were roommates for two years. Our first date included a double date with Elizabeth and her fiance Lucas (who are getting married in September!). The four of us have spent countless hours together doing everything from dressing up as the 4 Harry Potter houses for Halloween to playing board games while trying to get all of our dogs to behave.
Groomsmen | Friend of the Groom
Dj and I met through his wife, Cass, who was a medical school classmate of mine. Whoever wins between Michigan vs. Wisconsin- the other can expect some friendly text messages about the result. Dj's path brought him to live nearby in Michigan and I was so excited to be able to hang out with him more regularly. Dj has a contagious energy and kindness that inspires me and makes me feel lucky to count him as a friend. Pictured above at my 30th birthday party with Megan and Cass.
Bridesmaid | Friend of the Bride
Sophia and I met freshman year of college where we both lived in the Mary Markley dorm. Through all of college and life after, she's always been a constant cheerleader in my life. We've always referred to each other as "soul sisters" because no matter where life takes us I know our friendship will never waiver or change.
Bridesmaid | Friend of the Bride
Sarah has always been that friend to me that I know deeply understands me. We've always marveled at how many random, niche interests we share - from being obsessed with Myers Briggs and Harry Potter, to a love for running and hiking, to our shared passion and careers in advancing equality in education, we have so much that grounds our friendship and I am thankful to have Sarah with me on my wedding day and beyond.
Ring Bearer | Nephew of the Bride
Jack is my second nephew, and he has made me smile and laugh since the day he was born. Whether it's his sweet side or his silly side, spending time with him always amazes me to see how quickly he is learning and growing and how smart he is. We're so lucky to have him as our ring bearer!
Flower Girl | Niece of the Groom
As soon as Naomi was born, I knew she would be my flower girl. My sweetheart niece who I love to see smile, Naomi is a ray of sunshine and joy in our lives. During Sabrina's pregnancy, I campaigned hard for her name to be Naomi and I plan on telling her that for years to come.
