Java: One of the best coffee shops in town. Maudes Coffee Shot & Clothes: Best of both worlds. The Kneadery: Big, traditional, diner-style breakfasts. We saw Arnold Schwarzenegger here a few winters ago! Bigwood Bread: Freshly baked bread, sandwiches, salads. Megan loves their Avocado Toast. Simple and delish! Johnny G’s Sub Shack: Bomb sammies and $1 beer Wiseguy Pizza Pie: Classic and delicious pizza. Casual vibe. Cristina's: Chic, fresh cuisine. Enoteca: Rustic, cute, modern feel Italian place. Reservation suggested. Rickshaw: Southeast Asian street food. Ketchum Grill: Historic and cozy. Michel Christiana's: A SV classic. Enjoy a glass of wine or beer at the bar for dinner and drinks. The Roundhouse: Take the gondola from River Run Lodge to the Roundhouse for drinks and lunch! Reservations required
Grumpy's: A must. Get a burger and a schooner or 6 of Coors Light. You won't regret it. Lefty's Bar and Grill: Great patio, chill local vibe. If they had beds here, Scott would be paying rent. The Cellar Pub: Cool underground Irish pub with post-ski/hike meals. The Warfield Distillery & Brewery: Awesome roof deck with a view of Baldy. Good vibes and brews. Whiskey Jaques: Classic SV bar where we'll host Welcome Drinks! The Casino: The diviest bar you've ever seen and of course, another one of Scott's favorites. Duchin Room at the Sun Valley Lodge: For the old folks. Beautiful room, nice patio.
Adams Gulch is just a few minutes north of town and provides access to some really good hikes. If you like to Mountain Bike you can access Adams Gulch via the Wanderer Trail off Warm Springs Road. Fox Creek, Lake Creek also good hiking spots. Take the gondola to the Roundhouse for lunch and brews on the deck. From there, take the chairlift to the top for some seriously spectacular views.
Rent bikes from Sturtevants in downtown Ketchum and follow the Sun Valley Bike Trail loop around town, through Elkhorn, Sun Valley and back to Ketchum. Adrenaline junkies can take their bikes up the gondola and mountain bike down Baldy. See link for rental info.
