PLATEAU / MILE END is north of the center and is where you can catch the locals in action. Home to Montreal's hipsters and what any native will tell you are the best bagels ever (yes, NYCers, challenge accepted!) Great boutiques, cafes, people-watching, and generally chill vibes.
