Things To Do

The White Mountains of New Hampshire is one of the most beautiful regions of the state! There are many on-property and nearby attractions offering activities of all types. Below are some of our favorites.

Omni Mount Washington Resort

The resort has many on-property amenities, including a 9 and an 18 hole golf course, outdoor and indoor pools/hot tubs, horseback riding, carriage rides, game room, movie room, spa, restaurants, and bars. You can also book off-property activities to explore the White Mountains through the hotel's website below.

Mt. Washington State Park

Take a drive (about 30 min up, 45 min down) or hike to the top of the tallest mountain on the east coast. This state park has plenty of hiking trails of all difficulties. Be prepared for wind!

The Mount Washington Cog Railway

Take a train to the top of Mount Washington, the highest peak on the East Coast. You can also hike or drive to the summit.

Cannon Mountain

Cannon Mountain is a popular nearby ski resort with an aerial tramway to take to you to the summit for beautiful views of Franconia Notch.

Hiking

The White Mountains are home to some of the most beautiful New England hikes and one of the most challenging sections of the Appalachian trail. There are many amazing hikes around the area for all hiker types and difficulties.

North Conway

North Conway, NH

North Conway is full of adorable shops, restaurants, and bars - and has a popular outlet mall (New Hampshire has no sales tax!).

Franconia Notch State Park

There are many awesome hiking trails of all difficulties. You can also check out where the Old Man in the Mountain once stood at Profile Plaza (RIP).

Flume Gorge

The Flume is an easy 2 mile loop within Franconia Notch State Park. This is a popular hike along a stream with many waterfalls. This hike requires an entrance fee.

Polly's Pancake Parlor
