Take a drive (about 30 min up, 45 min down) or hike to the top of the tallest mountain on the east coast. This state park has plenty of hiking trails of all difficulties. Be prepared for wind!
Take a train to the top of Mount Washington, the highest peak on the East Coast. You can also hike or drive to the summit.

The Flume is an easy 2 mile loop within Franconia Notch State Park. This is a popular hike along a stream with many waterfalls. This hike requires an entrance fee.
