On Christmas break my junior year of college, just a few days after I turned 21, I saw that my friend had posted pictures on Instagram of his trip to Ireland. In the hopes of seeing more pictures of Ireland, I clicked on Nathan’s name because he was tagged in the pictures. While looking at his pictures, I recognized another friend of mine and liked the image. Little did I know it was a picture posted 32 weeks before.. A few hours later my phone alerted me that I recieved a follow request on twitter from Nathan and ultimately a direct message that stated “a 32 week old like is pretty savage.” This was the message that started it all. Honestly, I used to be embarassed to talk about how we met because it is so stereotypically “millenial” and if you know either of us, it is quite ironic. Since December 27th, 2015, Nathan and I have grown tremendously and have kept each other laughing constantly. There is so much more to our story, but this is the ironic story of how we met.
