We want to see you looking and feeling your best in something autumnal and snazzy! The dress code for our wedding is cocktail or semi-formal. For guidelines and ideas, check out this link: https://www.theknot.com/content/cocktail-wedding-attire
Your guess is as good as ours when it comes to Houston! The weather here is typically pretty mild in October, but we recommend checking the forecast beforehand.
No need to worry about driving around town: both the ceremony and reception will be held at Station 3 on 1919 Houston Avenue. A historic landmark located in the heart of Downtown Houston, Station 3 was established in 1903 as the city's original fire station. Now, the beautifully preserved and tastefully restored building stands as the perfect venue for Dane and McKenna to tie the knot!
The entirety of the wedding will be indoors with courtyard access.
We recommend planning to arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the ceremony. This will help alleviate any stress if unexpected traffic should occur and make sure everyone is seated on time.
The venue boasts a complimentary 60+ vehicle parking lot that will be clearly marked the day of the wedding. This lot is right across the street from the venue on the corner of Spring Street and Houston Avenue. Overnight parking is permitted and encouraged for guests who've enjoyed the open bar.
While we'd love to see your kiddos, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and be fully present. We appreciate you making arrangements for childcare ahead of time so you can celebrate with us and enjoy a much-needed evening out!
