Question

If I'm traveling from out of town where will I stay?

Answer

We have a room block at the Hampton Inn Oceanfront for the dates Thursday May 22nd, 2025 thru Tuesday May 27th, 2025. Stay the nights you can- our wedding is on Memorial Day weekend, so make a trip out of it! Alternatively, there are various surrounding hotels near Casa Marina in walking distance including Margaritaville, Best Western Oceanfront, Four Points by Sheraton, etc. Please make sure to book rooms as early as possible. Again, it is a holiday weekend! Follow the link below to take advantage of our wedding rate exclusively at the Hampton Inn Oceanfront: https://group.hamptoninn.com/siqaqs

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

There are various parking locations surrounding Casa Marina including street and lot parking. Please keep in mind any parking near First Street is monitored via Flowbird parking kiosks. Costs for paid parking are $3 for the first two hours and $1 per hour for each additional hour, with a maximum of $7. Cash & card are both accepted. Please plan to arrive 45min early to find parking and allow yourself a safe/comfortable walk to Casa Marina. If you are staying at the Hampton Inn Oceanfront, parking is included with your reservation. Beach Buggy service will be provided to and from Casa Marina throughout the night.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The Ceremony and Reception will take place at Casa Marina's outdoor courtyard, weather permitting. Dinner will take place indoors at Casa Marina's Banquet Hall.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Dress "Cocktail attire needs some effort regarding appearance and presentation but isn’t as strict as Black Tie dress codes. For men, this traditionally calls for a suit with a tie. However, a more modern take on event cocktail attire could be a colorful suede blazer with alternative color pants (think smart black or grey). For women, this generally means dresses (usually knee length or longer), jewelry and accessories, and a darker or neutral color tone. Feel feel to incorporate springtime florals." -https://meetings.skift.com/15-dress-code-ideas-and-tips/

Question

What will weather be like?

Answer

Expect Jacksonville's late May to be warm and humid. Average temperatures during this time of year are between 82°F-87°F Being near the beach will provide some breezy relief.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?
