Our story begins at... you guessed it- Publix! Nothing stopped us from stealing conversations with each other from one cash register to another. Romantic, we know! Our commitment to faith in the Lord and love of adventure allowed our relationship to blossom

Brett was born in Atlanta, Georgia to parents Joie and Scott McGee. He has an older brother, Jake, and a younger sister, Molly. The McGees moved to Jacksonville in 2006, where Brett attended Patterson Elementary, Green Cove Spring Junior High, and Ridgeview High school. Brett moved on to attend college at the University of Alabama Birmingham where he studied Industrial Distribution. Like many others, Brett moved to be home with family during the COVID-19 pandemic, where he completed his Bachelor's degree. In the meantime, Brett worked at a nearby Publix in Saint Augustine where him and Angela met!

Angela was born in Yokosuka, Japan to parents Harumi and Gabriel Wright. She has an older brother, Bradley. As a Military brat, Angela spent the majority of her childhood moving from country to country, and city to city. The Wright Family made the move to Saint Augustine in 2012 where Angela attended Pacetti Bay Middle and Nease High School. Angela went on to attend the University of North Florida where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences. Among many other part time college jobs, she worked at Publix where her and Brett met!
