Best Man
Brian and Matt met freshman year of college at Iowa. They share a mutual love for sports and Six Flags. All are things Brian is still able to enjoy since Matt convinced him to go to the ER after a spider bite. To return the favor Brian convinced Matt to move to Chicago where he ultimately started his journey with Shannon.
Groomsman
Chris and Matt have been friends since high school when they got to know each other riding the bench for varsity football. To this day any trip back to Iowa isn’t complete without a trip to Marco's Italian Restaurant. A tradition between Chris and Matt since freshman year of high school.
Groomsman
Another friend of Matt’s from college. Somehow through years of arguments and playing devil's advocate with each other, they have still been able to remain friends. Just don’t get between them on “Mean Monday.”
Groomsman
Matt and Prateek met at the University of Iowa though their friendship didn’t really get going until they both moved to Chicago. That’s when Prateek invited Matt to play video games at his place while he was on a date. Needless to say, Prateek didn’t get a second date - but definitely cemented the friendship with Matt.
Groomsman
When Matt and Brett met at the University of Iowa he had frosted tips. Thankfully Matt was able to look past that and their friendship continued to Chicago where they both lived for a few years before Brett abandoned him for the OC. Matt still thinks he’ll be able to convince him to move back.
Groomsman
Yet another college friend, there’s a good chance Bill will fall asleep in his hotel room and miss the wedding. It’s his signature move.
Groomsman
Matt and B Marsh met during Matt’s two-year stint in New York. Suffering together for two years in a law firm before they both had to call it quits. Matt moved to Chicago and it only took him nine years to convince B Marsh to do the same.
Groomsman
Ryan and Matt met working as paralegals in New York. They quickly became friends and that’s when Matt was able to con Ryan into helping him move. Since leaving New York, Matt and Ryan have continued to stay in touch through concerts that Ryan drags Matt to.
Officiant
Matt's friend from college. A moral compass we look to even if he tries to get us to invest in NFTs or Formula One trading cards.
