There is so much to explore in Salt Lake City! To help guide your visit, we have listed a few of our favorite food and activity recommendations. If you need more guidance, feel free to reach out to Emma or Tim.

Need some caffeine throughout the weekend? Publik is definitely your spot, located just a few blocks from our venue! (This is Emma's favorite coffee shop in town)

Publik Coffee Roasters

Located at the Gateway Mall, this is one of the best coffee shops in SLC! If you're a fan of chai, this shop is Tim approved (and his favorite).

La Barba Coffee - The Gateway

One of the best breakfast places in town. Be prepared for a wait, but we promise it's worth it! Luckily, you can walk around Liberty Park across the street while you wait.

The Park Café

Tim and Emma's favorite restaurant in SLC. On the pricier side, but some of the tastiest food around.

Wildwood Restaurant

Hey east coasters, yes we have In-n-Out. If you want to compare it to Shake Shack (which is superior) be sure to stop by.

One of our favorite bars in town. If there are any sports games you want to watch while here, this is your place. Not a fan of beer? Don't worry, Bar X is connected and serves yummy cocktails. (Also where our welcome party will be!)

The state capitol building is an iconic part of SLC. You can wander the building and the beautiful grounds. (Fun fact: Emma worked here from 2019-2021)

Utah State Capitol

A wonderful museum with lots of great exhibits for both adults and kiddos. If you like dinosaurs, be sure to check it out and their extensive fossil collection all found in Utah.

Natural History Museum of Utah

Need to do some shopping? City Creek mall is your place, featuring the City Creek running through the middle of it.

City Creek Center

Interested in Utah history? Visit Temple Square to learn more about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints settlers and their faith.

An easy hike, less than a mile long, with a great view of the valley at the end.

Ensign Peak Hike

A moderate hike up to a "living room" overlooking the valley. (Fun fact: this was one of Emma and Tim's earliest dates)

Have a bit extra time? Park City is a 40 minute drive from SLC and has lots of shopping and activities. Be sure to check out the Olympic park- you may see some athletes practicing.

Staying a bit longer? Head south and check out one, or many, of Utah's Mighty 5 national parks: Arches, Canyonlands, Zion, Capitol Reef, and Bryce Canyon.
