You all are a big part of our lives and we want you to do what is most comfortable and meaningful for you! If bringing your kids will allow you to have a wonderful time, we will gladly dance and celebrate with them. If you'd like to use our wedding as an excuse to take a weekend away, we welcome that as well :)
Buena Vista is where we call home, and we are so excited to show you around our beautiful town. While we know that it is a hike from the front range (and any easily accessible airport), we wanted to take the opportunity to host you all and invite you for a weekend of mountain fun. If this travel isn't a great fit for you at this time, we completely understand and look forward to finding an alternative way of celebrating with you!
It actually took very little convincing ;) As a former Army Medic, Joe's service and deployment are a big part of who he is. Since being in Buena Vista, the VWF community has been so beyond welcoming to us and brought us into very special friend groups. We wanted to honor both Joe's background and share this little gem with our dear ones as we celebrate the start of an exciting new chapter!
While Colorado can be a finicky lady, we anticipate beautiful weather for that time of the year. As always, we encourage friends and family to bring layers or have options as weather can change quickly.
