Casa Ferrel is the location of the main events and the central "hanging out" hub. The Bridal party and parents will share this location with us, in order to make things easier for everybody else we have made accommodations for the Groom's party and extended family. See those options below.
Flight
Flight Information
There is no airport in the city of Lagos itself, so we will be flying into the Faro International Airport. Be prepared for two layovers (depending on where you fly out of), most flights have a stop in the US and at a bigger European airport before you'll arrive in Faro. Please be aware that if you are choosing to take the train to the house there is baggage size and quantity requirements, you will need to look up the specific train you'll be riding to find that information.

Airport Train Station
There is train services at the airport and a direct ride straight to Lagos, it will drop you around the Lagos Marina. The average cost of a train ticket is 7-10 euro making it the cheapest option of travel from the airport. From there you could call a taxi or an Uber to get to your desired location, please take the time to unwind and get settled. No rush from us, this is a vacation for our guests as well! If staying to vacation afterwards, the train system in Europe is phenomenal and the best option for getting around for a great bargain! Please be aware that if you are choosing to take the train to the house there is baggage size and quantity requirements, you will need to look up the specific train you'll be riding to find that information.
Rental Car
Faro International Airport
If wanting to rent a car while visiting in Portugal, I would recommend booking to pick up your car at the airport as it will be a little cheaper than a car rental place in town. They have Enterprise and Hertz which are familiar companies for us, in addition to a few local choices that may be cheaper like EuropeCar or Budget. Book sooner than later, the closer you get to the date the price could almost double from the price you could pay in advance. In Portugal, they do have toll roads, so just be aware of that when making decisions. There are apps to pay and help with more information on toll roads, we recommend using GoToll, Tollsmart Toll Calculator, and the Toll Roads App. Remember, Uber and taxis are widely used in this area and may be easier to navigate.

This is one out of the three hotels we recommend in the area. Dream Lagos B&B is a 3-star hotel with the average cost of $60 a night, and is located in the vicinity of the Lagos city center. If you are looking for a cozy place to stay, for a good price, this is the place for you!

Solar de Mos Hotel is our middle of the road price range hotel, with rooms averaging around $100. This is a beautiful 4 star hotel that is conveniently situated by a main road and all of the fun stuff to do in Lagos.

Tivoli Lagos Algarve Resort
Tivoli Lagos Algarve Resort is our most expensive hotel option, but for a good reason. This 4 star hotel offers breakfast packages, has stunning views and spacious rooms. Located almost directly in the Lagos City Center, there is plenty of things to do with a short walk away.
