Old Town Square
Wander around Fort Collins' well-established Old Town area, which is designated both a national and local-historic district with 28 historical buildings. As you stroll, you might notice a strong resemblance to Disneyland’s Main Street USA. We’re delighted to say it was designed with downtown Fort Collins in mind! The Old Town area is lined with local boutiques, antique shops, cafes, retail stores, and candy and confectionery shops that are sure to please everyone.
New Belgium Brewing Company

Annual Flower Trial Garden
Each year, CSU trials over 1,000 different cultivars of annual bedding plants. Varieties are evaluated for plant vigor, uniformity, floriferousness and tolerance to environmental and biotic stresses. In layman's terms they plant a bunch of flowers and see how the fair. The flowers bloom through out the season but it is a beautiful spot to take a walk and look at the different varietals. Plus it is a totally free experience!
Horsetooth Area Information Center
Horsetooth Reservoir contains trails for hiking, biking, and bouldering. You can rent paddle boards and kayaks to enjoy the reservoir itself or even take a swim at approved beach areas. Visitor Center hours in March-October are 9 AM - 4 PM, 7 days a week
"Adventures on Tap" Beer & Bike Tours
Fort Collins is a notoriously bike friendly town. Take a four or six hour tour to multiple breweries and explore the town for under $100 or rent bikes at many of the spots in town and build your own tour.
Totally 80's Pizza & Museum
A unique dining experience that is a cross over between a museum and a pizza shop. Grab a slice (or two) and take a seat next to rare 80s pop culture exhibits like rare toys, vintage arcade games, vintage cereal boxes, 80s music videos, original movie props and a treasure trove of 80s childhood memories. Dine with Han Solo, Michael Jackson and "The Terminator".
Odell Brewing Company
Known for the beautiful patio and striking mountain views, this brewhouse is the go-to spot for locals and travelers alike. This brewery features draft microbrews, on-site food trucks, weekly live music & daily tours. This spot is also dog friendly for your well behaved furry family members.
Fort Collins Museum of Discovery
Fort Collins Museum of Discovery is a hands-on history and science museum, filled with interactive exhibits and fascinating artifacts that tell the stories of Northern Colorado. It is a great place to take kids and kids at heart.
Social
Social is a locally-owned, underground, cocktail bar in Old Town Fort Collins where you can enjoy properly crafted cocktails, sommelier selected wines, abundantly sliced charcuterie and small plates. At the entrance into Old Town Square, a street clock and a well-lit stairwell welcome you to a speakeasy atmosphere filled with great conversation. Life is short. Celebrate it.
The 1UP Arcade Bar - Colfax
Matt and I love playing old arcade games in this casual bar scene. You can ask for gloves and they have sanitazing stations through out the venue. if you make your way to Denver you should check it out!
Denver Botanic Gardens
One of our favorite date day spots when we first moved to Denver. You can definitely spend a few hours in the gardens and they have different themed gardens as well.
Mt. Evans Scenic Byway
Great alternative to a hike. This is a notable scenic route with pull offs along the side to get great photos of the mountains. Just pay a car entrance fee and drive up from Echo Lake’s Highway 103 to the top of the Summit Lake road.
Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre
Red Rocks' summer concert series is coming up soon so there are lots of opportunities enjoy the acoustics of this outdoor venue. People also use the venue in the mornings and during the day to exercise and walk the trails in the area.
Adams Mystery Playhouse

Denver Zoo
A great way to spend the day with the family in tow! Denver Zoo was recently ranked as one of the most ethical zoos in the country. If you want a unique experience you can pay a little extra for an up close experience with some of your favorite animals.
Denver Beer Co South Downing
One of Matt's favorite breweries. If you don't have time to stop in they also sell some of thier beers in grocery stores so be on the look out for popular names like the Pretzel Assassin or Princess Yum Yum!
Steuben's Uptown
If you are looking for the classic diner experience try out Steubens! They have a great happy hour menu and you will feel transported back in time by thier cocktails and decor.
