We met at a coworking space in East Austin in late 2012. We said hello in the hallway from time to time, and then in January 2013, really started talking and decided to go on our first date. We went to the Austin farmer's market on a Saturday morning, then spent the afternoon talking and eating tacos + drinking coffee on Lake Austin. And the rest is history!

We went to the grand opening of Austin Winery and after relaxing for awhile, Shelly decided that she really wanted Shake Shack. Matt said he'd rather go down to walk near Town Lake (which seemed odd in hindsight, because when does Matt EVER say no to cheeseburgers....) So, we headed down to Auditorium Shores. There's a big hill in the middle of the park that overlooks the city (we went there on one of our first dates) so we walked up the hill, waited for the prom kiddos to get done with their photos, and Matt proposed in front of the Austin skyline....I cried a few tears of happiness and said YES! We're so excited to celebrate this next adventure with you. See you in Austin! xoxo
