Just one of the many breweries the city offers, and you can never go wrong with a brewery tour if you have the time! Other favorites include: Laguintas, Revolution Brewing, Half Acre. Or check out Malt Row in Ravenswood with numerous breweries within a few miles
Corridor Brewery & Provisions
One of our favorite places with great beer and some of our favorite pizzas in the city. Also you can check out their parent brewing company, DryHop Brewers in Lakeview East, with similar types of beers, but different options available.
Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinder Company
A different take on deep dish that in our opinion won't leave you full for days and is delicious. Just don't forget to bring cash (but they might have finally changed their cash ways after the pandemic)!
Shedd Aquarium and other museums
One of the many museums in the area that are fun for people of all ages, with some great views of the city to boot!
Lincoln Park Zoo
Who doesn't love something free in the city? Walk around the beautiful Lincoln Park with views of the city and many different animals to check out, all for free!
Chicago Riverwalk
Great views of the city with many options for boat tours. We recommend one of the architecture tours if you have time!
Lakefront Trail
If wanting a relaxing stroll with views of the lake and the city, hop on the Lakefront Trail from various places throughout the city. Or grab a divvy and take the bike path for faster travel and great views.
Fulton Market and West Loop
Explore Colleen's old neighborhood! A great area for plenty to do, including eat, drink, shop, have some fun, or just take in one of the most popular areas in the city. Some of our favorites include: Time Out Market, Cabra, and Recess. The Guinness Open Gate Brewery also recently opened in the area and is supposed to be great.
