Airports

Guests can choose to fly into any of three international airports, and there are various options for transportation from the airports to our celebrations, including trains, buses, and public taxis. Some of our recommended hotels also offer airport shuttle service for an additional fee. Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) Milan Airport is about an hour and a half from Gardone Riviera. Trains travel from Milano Centrale to Brescia. Buses are available from Brescia - Autostazione directly to Gardone Riviera. Venice Marco Polo (VCE) Venice Airport is about 2 hours and 15 minutes by car to Gardone Riviera. There is a fast train from the Venice Airport to Desenzano del Garda/Sirmione that takes about an hour and 15 minutes. From there, public buses or taxis are available to Gardone Riviera. Verona Airport (VRN) Verona Airport is the closest airport to the celebrations, and the drive from Verona Airport to Gardone Riviera is approximately one hour. There is also a train from Verona to Desenzano Del Garda/Sirmione. From there, public buses or taxis are available to Gardone Riviera.

Grand Hotel Fasano is a luxury boutique hotel known for its beautiful setting, elegant accommodations, and fine dining options. It was founded in the 1800s as a hunting lodge for the Austrian royal family.

This is a 5-star luxury hotel and is set up on a hill with a nice view and large and bright rooms. It is about a 20 minute walk from our reception venue.

Please note that there is a small road to reach the Villa by foot (Via Cornella). This road is uphill and not very illuminated, so consider this if booking.

Travel Note

Public Transportation (taxi, boat, bus)

Please note that rideshare is not readily available around the lake, so guests should make use of public taxis, especially in the evenings. All recommended hotels are within walking distance of the reception venue. However, if you choose to stay in another hotel that is a bit farther away, keep in mind that it is not possible to get a taxi on demand in the evenings. You will need to reserve a taxi in advance to return to your hotel. Ferry service is available during the day, and Gardone Riviera is conveniently located on the main ferry line that stops at various destinations around the lake: https://www.navigazionelaghi.it/en/tickets-and-timetables-lake-garda/. The nearest bus stop to our recommended hotels is Gardone Riviera Casinò.
