Welcome to our wedding website, we can’t wait to celebrate our special day with you. We met in a Chicago bar, called Old Town Pour House. MC's perspective: I had been sitting with a girlfriend and was just surveying the crowd to determine if it was time to go home for the night, when I locked eyes with someone down the bar. He proceeded to wave at me. Naturally I ducked and looked around to see who he was waving at, but when I looked back at him, he waved even more enthusiastically, confirming that he was waving at me. I waved back. He walked over to say hello, and after my friend grilled him endlessly about everything from his name, his job, to how his relationship with his mother was going.... he asked if we could go out on a date. I agreed, however, I was about to fly to London for roughly 10 days. He thought I was making excuses, but Glenn secretly knew the way to my heart, and he made a calendar invite for us to go out a few days after I got back. True love! Glenn's perspective: I was out on the town with my boys, having a great time. That's when I noticed a striking young woman sitting down the bar. I decided to wave at her, and then wave at her again. An inquisition and a calendar invite later, her friend proceeded to tell me to "go away now, your job is done here." But it wasn't really, because after our first date, the rest was history.

It was the night before our 3-year anniversary, so we had made dinner reservations. A few weeks before, Glenn updated the reservation to make it much earlier in the evening (5:30). He claimed we were going to have friends in town that evening, and we were supposed to meet up with them after dinner. We went over to the riverfront next to one of our favorite restaurants, Gibsons Italia, on our way to meet everyone. Glenn paused so we could look at the skyline and take some selfies. The next thing MC knew, he was down on one knee. We both got incredibly choked up, laughing and crying, but he popped the question and MC of course said yes! Unbeknownst to MC, our dear friend Elizabeth had been hiding waiting for us to arrive - poor thing was freezing! She came running and captured the most spectacular photos of our special moment. Following the surprise, we went back to our place where a huge surprise party was lying in wait to celebrate with us all night long! We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with all of you. See you in Chicago!
