It's finally happening!

UPDATE: Thank you so much for your patience as we navigated postponing our wedding celebration. On January 15, 2021, we got married in a very small, intimate ceremony on the beach with our closest friends and family. To kick off this new phase of our lives, we hope you will join us in celebration on January 15, 2022 in New Orleans! We cannot wait to eat, drink, dance and hug you all in person! --- We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and will update guests with any safety precautions prior to the wedding. Marty and Amanda met just before graduating at Auburn University. After a summer full of hikes in Chewacla State Park and Marty showing off his cooking skills, Amanda moved to Washington, DC and Marty moved to Birmingham, AL for jobs. Long distance only lasted for about a year before Marty made the move to DC, where the relationship continued to grow through the years. Marty proposed in Fall 2019 during a weekend in Alabama for an Auburn football game. The day started with a hike in Chewacla, where Marty got down on one knee, and ended with the surprise of family and friends celebrating over delicious food and drinks at a local favorite restaurant.
