Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Our dress code is Holiday Black-tie Optional: Suits and gowns preferred. Christmas color schemes (green, red, gold, sequins, etc.) are encouraged! No jeans please.

Are kids welcome?

To allow the couple and all guests to enjoy a night of fun and uninhibited merriment, we respectfully ask that no children attend our wedding. Please take a night off and join us in celebration!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be plenty of parking available including handicapped parking spaces. We strongly encourage anyone wishing to enjoy the open bar use our shuttle option to and from the venue to ensure everyone's safety. The venue will also permit vehicles to be left overnight provided they are picked up the following morning.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the venue by 3:30 to ensure adequate time to be seated prior to the prompt start of the ceremony. Guests arriving late will not be permitted into the venue after the ceremony has started.

Please see the "Travel" tab. We have a block of rooms reserved at the Hotel Madison in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Will there be a shuttle to the venue?

Answer

Yes! A shuttle bus will be provided for safe transportation to and from the venue. The shuttle will leave Hotel Madison promptly at 3 pm, so please be in the lobby at 2:45. The shuttle is available to all wedding guests, parking is available at Hotel Madison for non-hotel guests if needed. The shuttle will leave the venue at the conclusion of the reception at 10 pm, making a stop at Billy Jack's for our after party for those who'd like to join, before returning to Hotel Madison.
