Question

I'm not familiar with a Catholic wedding ceremony. What do I need to know?

Answer

It's easy to follow, and full of beautiful symbolism! Our wedding will not be a full Mass, meaning that the Liturgy of the Eucharist will not take place. However, there will be traditional readings as well as a Nuptial Blessing. Just stand up and sit down when everyone else does! We do request that this be an unplugged ceremony— please allow the photographer to work their magic, allowing you to be totally present in this celebration!

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We would recommend arriving ~15 to 30 minutes early to the ceremony at St. Mary's. Doors for the reception will open at 2:00.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes; if not, then please bring yourself and enjoy the evening with us! While we wish we could invite everyone to witness our Holy Matrimony, unfortunately we must work within our budget 🤍

Question

What is the bar situation?

Answer

Beer and wine will be provided for the duration of the reception. Mixed drinks will be available for purchase (cash only).

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire/semi-formal.
