Due to increased security, it is important that you have with you your photo ID (driver's license, passport, etc.) or you will not be permitted in (and we will be very sad). No joke, so don't forget it ;)
To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we respectfully ask that no children attend the reception. Thank you for understanding.
Due to the challenges we have [all] faced during the COVID-19 Pandemic, we have decided to postpone our wedding date to June 11, 2022, as well as change our venue. As of now, we have had to trim down our guest list to meet our new venue's accommodations, which has been by the far one of the most difficult things we have had to do during our wedding planning. We will keep everyone posted on these changes, and look forward to celebrating our love with you all, soon! <3 M&M xoxo
It was the year of the Dragon and two extraordinary human beings were born: Marlana Mary Persson and Maximillian Grant McClelland. Cut to 1997 when these two youngsters met in elementary school. No sparks to speak of...yet. They weren't friends then, but became the best of friends about 5 years or so later. Still no sparks, just two very loud, very crazy, good friends. After about a decade of friendship, they started "secretly dating," but let's be real, everyone knew love was blossoming. There was no official anniversary date, no remembrance of a first kiss, who knows what restaurant they dined at first, what the first official date was, and to this day these are all true mysteries that may someday be uncovered via a Netflix documentary on M & M. As an aside these dates are often made-up at restaurants in an effort to get a free appetizer or dessert for their "anniversary." After a few years of going steady, Max and Mar bought their first house together in Vasa Park. They spent many a fine evening enjoying Max's home-cooked, delicious meals, laughing, traveling, fighting over building IKEA furniture, and plotting how to conquer the world together. Two years later, they purchased a beach condo in Cape May, NJ--their favorite place on Planet Earth. Four years after that, they sold their first humble abode, and purchased another home. About a month in of unpacking boxes, painting, and home-renovations, Max decided that after a dog, three properties, and eight or so years of togetherness this was going to be forever. One evening, while Marlana was up in her office, working a little later than usual. Max and his wing man, Ditalini (aka Pup Pup Daily), decided to propose. Marlana, over the moon, said "yes"...obviously, or this website wouldn't have been created. And that, dear friends, and family is the story of soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. McClelland. <3
