Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Marissa Wall and Garrett Raubinger
There are lots of things to do in the Muskegon area. Here are a few: -Outdoor Recreation: There are many parks, beaches and trails in the area. Mosquito Creek Trails, Hart-Montague Trail State Park, Lakeshore Trail, Duck Lake State Park, Blue Lake County Park. -Museums: the Muskegon Heritage Museum, Muskegon Art Museum, Hackley and Hume Historic Site, James Jackson Museum of African American History, Montegue Museum. Grand Rapids is less than an hour away and offers even more city options for entertainment, shopping, eating, and trails. We recommend checking out the Frederick Meijer Botanical Gardens, Riverside Park, Reeds Lake Trails, Hancock Fried Chicken, Donkey Taqueria, Hopcat, Outside Coffee Co and more. If you want to spend more time along the lake, south of Muskegon is Grand Haven, MI is 20 minutes away, and Holland, MI is 46 minutes away. Both offer beautiful beach scenery, restaurants, and plenty of museums and historical sites.
