Coffee Shops (our favorite item there): Un Caffe (citrus iced americano) Coffee Garden (pistachio latte without chocolate) Campesino (cafe de olla) Siphon (chai or golden latte) Catalina Coffee (orange or lavender syrups) Blendin Coffee Native Coffee (cardamom) Our favorite places to eat: Kau Ba - Viejun (Vietnamese/Cajun fusion) drool worthy dishes and cocktails. You must try the tamarind shrimp! Caracol - Coastal Mexican cuisine. The ceviche is outstanding (the margaritas are tasty too) Local Foods - casual & fresh; salads, sandwiches, and entrees. Locations in the Heights, Upper Kirby, and River Oaks Vibrant - "clean" food options. Also tasty for those without dietary restrictions Places to visit: Menil Collection - well curated and free art museum Discovery Green - outdoor park with activities and performances Memorial Park - new land bridge and Eastern Glades are beautiful Levy Park - another wonderful outdoor park Houston Farmer's Market The Galleria Cafes/Bakeries:
