Milan Airport to Como
There are two major airports in Milan, MXP (Milan Malpensa Airport), and LIN (Milan Linate Airport). MXP is farther from Milan city center and LIN is closer to Milan city center. First option: Take a taxi direct from either airport to Como. This is a bit pricier, but is the easiest option. If you're in a larger group, this may be cheaper and quicker than the train options. Second option: Take a taxi or a train to Milan Centrale train station and then take a train from Milan to Como San Giovanni. You will then take a taxi to your hotel or Airbnb. Third option: Take a train from MXP airport (with one change) or take a bus from MXP. These would be cheaper options, however, we have never tried either of these options. We recommend taking a direct taxi direct from the airport or taking a taxi to the Milan Centrale train station and then a train to Como. We have never taken a bus or done the train from MXP. Some people may prefer to stay in Milan for a night, then take the train the next day to Como. You can also rent a car, but the streets of Como cities are quite small, so be sure to know how to drive in these type of streets. You will also want to confirm your hotel has parking.

We have added a room block at Hotel Centrale (Cernobbio). Please email info@centralehotel.it and mention you're booking a Deluxe Room for Michael and Belen's wedding. We have also included some more expensive options, Albergo Terminus, Hilton Lake Como, and Hotel Villa Flori as recommended options for hotels, though we don't have a room block. We also recommend Airbnbs (we stayed in one in the city of Como before), and for larger groups this may make more sense. We will have transport to and from the wedding at a central pickup location for the hotels, so should be simple to get to and from the pickup and drop-off.

This hotel is perfectly located in the center of the City of Como. What we love about it is that you'll be able to walk around the city and all the beautiful shops/restaurants. In addition, since it's so well located, it will be easy for you to get to all the wedding festivities.

This hotel is centrally located in Cernobbio. You will be able to walk the city, walk to the boat party pickup location, and will have pickup for the wedding.

This hotel is located higher up in Cernobbio, with views of the lake. You can still walk into town and the ferry.

A great place to stay with beautiful views of lake, but most importantly has a great location. You are in the city center so can easily scroll around town as you please.

Hilton Lake Como
We recommend this place after staying here for some of the bridal trials. If you are looking for amenities and great service, we couldn't recommend this place enough. This hotel has a beautiful restaurant that overlooks the lake, a gym & a spa. It's located slightly out of the city center, so you may need to walk 15 to 20 min to the city center or you may have to consider taking a taxi or Uber to all of your activities.

This is a breathtaking place. If you'd like to stay in a classic Italian place with the most beautiful view of the lake and don't mind spending more, this place is perfect.

You are more than welcome to stay in an Airbnb. There are many across the several cities in Lake Como. We recommend staying in Como City and Cernobbio, as these cities are closest to the wedding venue and other wedding activities. We will have shuttle pick up to the wedding, Sept 21st, from Como City and Cernobbio.

Como llegar a Como de Milan
Hay dos aeropuertos principales en Milán, MXP (Aeropuerto de Milán Malpensa) y LIN (Aeropuerto de Milán Linate). MXP está más lejos del centro de la ciudad de Milán y LIN está más cerca del centro de la ciudad de Milán. Primera opción: tomar un taxi directo desde cualquiera de los aeropuertos a Como. Esta es un poco más cara, pero es la opción más sencilla. Si estás en un grupo más grande, esto puede ser más barato y más rápido que las opciones de tren. Segunda opción: tomar un taxi hasta la estación de tren Centrale de Milán y luego tomar un tren desde Milán hasta Como San Giovanni. Luego tomarás un taxi hasta tu hotel o Airbnb. Tercera opción: Tomar un tren desde el aeropuerto MXP (con un cambio) o tomar un autobús desde MXP. Estas serían opciones más económicas, sin embargo, nunca hemos probado ninguna de estas opciones. Recomendamos tomar un taxi directo desde el aeropuerto o tomar un taxi hasta la estación central de trenes de Milán y luego un tren hasta Como. Nunca hemos tomado un autobús ni hemos tomado el tren desde MXP. Algunas personas prefieren quedarse en Milán por una noche y luego tomar el tren al día siguiente hasta Como. También puedes alquilar un coche, pero las calles de las ciudades de Como son bastante pequeñas, así que asegúrate de saber conducir en este tipo de calles. También querrás confirmar que tu hotel tenga estacionamiento.

También hemos incluido algunas opciones más caras, Albergo Terminus, Hilton Lake Como y Hotel Villa Flori como opciones recomendadas para hoteles, aunque no tenemos un bloque de habitaciones. También recomendamos Airbnb (antes nos alojamos en uno en la ciudad de Como), y para grupos más grandes esto puede tener más sentido. Tendremos transporte hacia y desde la boda en un lugar central de recogida para los hoteles, por lo que debería ser sencillo llegar y volver al lugar de recogida y regreso.

Recomendamos alojarse en la ciudad de Como y Cernobbio, ya que estas ciudades están más cercanas al lugar de la boda y a otras actividades nupciales. Tendremos servicio de recogida para la boda desde la ciudad de Como y Cernobbio.
