Clothes, preferably! But, seriously… while we want to be festive, there are food trucks, games and small children. Dress according to your comfort, number of children and love of tacos. Please no jeans/sneakers or anything that won’t promise to keep your body parts where they started after a few drinks.
There is a tent and a barn available! Bring a shawl or sweater just in case.
Aah, snap, yes we are. Making a marriage work is like making pancakes. Sometimes the first batch is a little busted, but the second batch is life-changing!
If you are looking for a night without the kids and can find a sitter- no worries, don’t bring them. You will have fun. But as we have 5 kids ourselves, it would be foolish and rude to not make this a kid friendly and inclusive event. We have hired two camp counselors who are first aid/ CPR certified and neurodivergent-trained to host activities with the kids for cocktail hour and dinner. Kids are not expected to sit for anything except the ceremony and we promise to keep it short! We want to see your kids smiling and having fun! So have them bring their best dance moves!
We have a cluttered house with lots of kids so we don’t need more things. We’d love any monetary contributions so we can have a few kid free days on the beaches of Punta Cana!
There will be a mobile bar cart offering beer, wine, standard liquors and our signature drinks. Two drinks are included for each adult of legal age. You are welcome to purchase any additional drinks. The bar will be open from 4pm-9pm. Bar Cart policies prohibit shots and have the right to cut you off if you are enjoying your kid free time too much for your own safety, so don’t do anything stupid.
