What is transportation like in the Twin Cities area?

Answer

There are two light rail trains in the Twin Cities which are reliable but only service certain areas. There is a light rail train (blue line) which goes from the airport to downtown, which is where the hotel block is located. Ubers and Lyfts are always available in abundance. Please note that a shuttle is provided on the wedding day. Please check the transportation tab for more details on the wedding shuttle.

What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-formal attire. Please keep in mind many of the events are outside and the weather can vary widely in June in Minneapolis, so please keep an eye on the forecast!

What happens if it is raining?

Answer

If there is just light rain, we will try to still stick as much to the original plan if possible. In the event there is heavy rain or thunderstorms, we will hold all events within the reception space.

Can we bring our children to the wedding?

Answer

While we would love to see your little ones, we are keeping this a child-free event!

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes! At the ceremony space, there are a few paid parking spaces right next to the ceremony spot. Just around the corner is a larger paid parking lot on the other side of the park (5 minute walk from ceremony), as well as street parking along side streets. There is also free parking at the reception venue. We suggest leaving plenty of time to find parking for the ceremony.

Can I leave my car overnight?

Answer

At the reception space, yes! If you decide to take more advantage of the open bar than originally planned, please leave the car behind and uber/lyft/taxi home. Just make sure to pick up your car BEFORE 10am the following day.
