From June 2nd through October 13th, you can find it on South Oak Street in downtown Telluride from 10:30am to 3:30pm.
Trailhead starts at the East end of the Box Canyon. On your way up you will pass 3 stunning waterfalls. The tail is rocky so appropriate footwear is needed. Takes about 2 hours. Ten rooms, each with their own theme, showcase these different aspects of Telluride history. In town you will find lots of shops and boutiques. Spend a day exploring the town as well as popping into all the local stores.
The gondola is one of Telluride’s best features and the best part is, it’s FREE. The views while going up the gondola are truly amazing. As you go up, you can see the entire town of Telluride tucked between the huge mountains. October makes for even more amazing views as Aspen groves fill the mountainside and contrast against the white color of the mountains. Be sure to take in the views at the top before heading back down.

Stronghouse Brewpub in Telluride is Marcus' favourite spot for a local beer boot and a pretzel. They have an awesome chilled atmosphere with a yummy menu to match. Telluride Brewing has a cozy brewpub in Mountain Village which also offers food. The beer is brewed with love, and Rocky Mountain snowmelt. Telluride Distilling Company which produces and sells hand-crafted spirits is located in Mountain Village as well. Try one of their handcrafted cocktails, play some pools or darts, and if you’re hungry, this is a great spot to try some wild game from their rotating menu.
Tomboy Road climbs to Imogene Pass from downtown Telluride to a summit of 13,114 feet. Our half day trip to Imogene via the Tomboy Ghost Town is our single most popular tour, generally available from late June through October. Tomboy Road is an intermediate 4-WD road, bumpy and airy. This is a well-suited trip for most customers. Kids, seniors and everyone in between enjoy the thrill of high country adventure and the colourful history of Telluride's most famous gold mine: Tomboy.

Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 3 h 44 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding, hiking, and horseback riding, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day.
Telluride's Via Ferrata is not for the faint-hearted. At its most intense, you're suspended on a small iron foothold by a harness at 500 feet. The newly-legal climbing route is technical, breathtaking and exposed on the East end and South-facing wall of Telluride's boxed canyon. A 2-mile trail starting at the Station St. Sophia Gondola terminal and dropping 1,000 feet to Station Mountain Village Gondola terminal. Valley views and peaceful switchbacks through the aspens with benches to rest on makes this a local favourite. Do it in reverse if you want to challenge yourself.
