Halloweenfest 2024 - October 26

Main Street, Brevard, NC 28712

Brevard, NC is located in Transylvania County and celebrates its name with a huge Halloween festival! From 10-5 enjoy the Halloween festivities in Downtown Brevard with live music, drinks, and a costume contest. Costumes are high encouraged! More info to come as time gets closer.

Pisgah National Forest & Blue Ridge Parkway

1600 Pisgah Highway, Brevard, NC 28768

Due to the impacts of Hurricane Helene, Pisgah National Forest and the Blue Ridge Parkway have been closed indefinitely. :(

DuPont State Recreational Forest

89 Buck Island Road, Cedar Mountain, NC 28718

Great place for hikes and waterfalls and where Maraia and Kyle got engaged! Some great places: - Triple, Hooker, and High Falls Loop (2 miles- 3 waterfalls and most popular) - Bridal Veil Falls Hike (4.5 miles) - Stone Mountain Hike (3 miles - Where we got engaged!)

Western NC is known for having great breweries! Some popular ones in the area: - Oskar Blues Brewery and Taproom - Ecusta Brewing Company - Brevard Brewing Company - Noblebräu Brewing - Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. - Burning Blush Brewery - Bold Rock Cidery
