We're getting married!

Manon and Zach met August of 2018 when they both began fellowships at the CDC in Atlanta, GA, under the tutelage of Tom Chapel (who is also our ceremony officiant). After witnessing Manon spill coffee on her white shirt, Zach knew he HAD to introduce himself. On day 2, Manon and Zach conveniently sat next to each other during the day, and then began "talking" at the social event afterwards. Over the course of the next month, the two began spending time together to show Zach how to survive big city life (he's from Kansas and had just learned to read). By September, they were deeply entrenched in each other's hearts. Throughout fall of 2018 and all of 2019, their courtship consisted of A LOT of nights eating pizza, walking the belt line, and even some indoor skydiving. In February 2020 Manon moved to Seattle, WA for a new gig and by April Zach had moved out as well. As many recall, 2020 was a fairly isolated year, so Manon and Zach got to know each other real well in the confines of their 660 sq. ft. apartment. Fast forward to 2021 and Zach traded his soul for an engagement ring. On July 24th, Zach picked up the engagement ring, and by 9:00 that night, Manon had said "I will OMG I'm the luckiest woman alive!!" Manon and Zach celebrated their engagement by moving out of Seattle and south to Vancouver, WA, where they currently work remotely for competing firms. The more relaxed atmosphere has done well for their health, and they enjoy spending time snowboarding, hanging out at the beach with their dogs, sampling the incredible food from Portland, and watching Rick & Morty. They can't wait to celebrate the beginning of their next chapter with you all :).
