Fishtown
So much to do in our little neighborhood! Walk up Frankford and explore the shops, restaurants and bars. There's murals and street art everywhere to gawk over. Stop and get a coffee literally anywhere, all of the coffee shops are amazing.
Philadelphia Distilling
We're biased since this is where John works, but Philadelphia Distilling (or PD as we refer to it) is a show stopper. Amazing cocktails in a gorgeous converted factory setting. John won't be there since we're gettin hitched, but you'll be in good hands with our friends! Tell them we sent you ;)
Philadelphia Museum of Art
One of the most robust collections in the country and always growing! Added bonus, you can hangout on the infamous Rocky steps.
Reading Terminal Market
The nations oldest continuously operating (indoor) farmers market! An amazing place for lunch that'll make you feel like you're dining out around the world. Everything from Philly famous roast pork sammies at DiNics, the most beautiful donuts you've ever seen at Beilers, and some comfort food at Amish diner, Dutch Eating Place.
Suraya Restaurant
Arguably one of the most beautiful restaurants I've ever seen with some amazing Lebanese food. Plan ahead if you'd like to go, a reservation will definitely be necessary! Ideal order is family style and share everything!
Philadelphia Brewing Co
If we're lucky enough to have some decent weather, this is the place to be. Awesome and casual outdoor seating outside of the brewery. If it's not as nice out, they also have the covered patio through the main building. Fun fact, this is where John and I go to open mic night every Wednesday!
Kalaya Thai Kitchen
Very small so a reservation will be necessary but the food here is incredible! BYOB!
Di Bruno Bros.
Small gourmet grocery store and wine and cheese shop from the same company that is catering our wedding! This location is in the heart of South Philly's Italian Market and has been there for over 80 years.
South Street
South St. is super close to The Deacon and is littered with great restaurants and shops worth checking out. Start at 16th St. and just walk your way down!
Wonderspaces Philadelphia
An interactive art gallery! Great for taking some cool photos and located right in the heart o f the fashion district. Wander through Wonderspaces, then head out for lunch or dinner in the neighborhood. Also a super close walk to Chinatown and Center City.
