Can I take my own pictures?
Answer
We would appreciate if you would not take pictures during the ceremony. However, please feel free to take pictures during cocktail hour and reception!

What do I wear?
Answer
Ranging from cocktail to formal attire. Basically, dress kinda nice, or very nice. Covid is over… put on some pants.

Is there parking on site?
Answer
Yes, there is free parking at Bill Miller’s Castle! There is also free parking at all hotels which we have a room block at!

Is there an open bar?
Answer
We will have an open bar from the start of cocktail hour (roughly 4:30pm) until an hour before the end of the wedding (9 pm). From 9-10pm there will still be a cash bar available.

Do we have to stay at a hotel with a room block?
Answer
Not at all! There are many other hotels in the area, feel free to book a room wherever you like, we tried to keep our room blocks affordable. Just be aware, we will only be providing transportation from two of the hotels that we do have a room block at. (Holiday Inn and Baymont Wyndham)

What time will transportation be picking us up and bringing us back to the hotel?

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?
Answer
The ceremony will be outdoor if the weather permits. If there is bad weather we have the option to move inside.

What is the weather that time of year in CT?
Answer
As much as we wish we could predict the future, alas, we cannot. However, in 2022 the weather was beautiful in October, with a high of 74 and a low of 34. The average temperature was mid-high 60s.

The hotel I contacted said there are no more rooms available from the room block, what do we do?
Answer
Please let us know if this happens! We can only book a certain amount of rooms at a time. Once those rooms are filled, we can add more rooms to our block

Are kids invited? Do I get a plus one?
Answer
Your invite will specify if you are given a plus one or if your children are invited. We are trying to keep our wedding to close family and friends, but if there are any questions just reach out to us directly!

Yes! We have primary an Amazon registry, as well on Zola. There’s a tab on our website!

Do I need to be vaccinated against COVID?
Answer
No. However if you are not vaccinated against COVID then we kindly ask that you take an at home COVID test to ensure that you are negative before attending the wedding.

Are masks required?
Answer
No, but please feel free to wear a mask at any time.

What time is transport back to the hotel?
Answer
9:40 and 10:10, however, if it is needed we can always add on time.
