LAX, BUR or SBA

Ventura is about 1-1.5 hours north of Los Angeles depending on traffic. The closest airport is Santa Barbara (~30 minutes from Ventura). Otherwise, our recommendation is to fly into Burbank (BUR) or Los Angeles (LAX) airport. There is a shuttle service from LAX to Ventura (~10 minutes from the Ventura Marriott) that can be booked at venturashuttle.com and departs/arrives at the Four Points Sheraton Ventura. Otherwise, a rental car will be needed to drive the remaining distance to Ventura, CA from either airport.

From LAX, you will take the 405 North to the 101 North towards Ventura. You will take exit 68 off the 101 at Seaward Avenue. From Burbank airport, take the 134 West to the 101 North towards Ventura. Take exit 68 off the 101 at Seaward Avenue.

This is our preferred hotel for the wedding with the Marriott being booked to capacity! Please call 805-643-0245 and mention “Horwitz Wedding." Bookings must be completed by 8/1/22. Please note this hotel option is 40 minutes from the wedding venue and we will be providing transportation to/from the wedding on 9/4 from this hotel. This location is within minutes of the beach, downtown Ventura and the Horwitz home but requires a car/uber. We will be providing transportation from this hotel to/from the wedding on Sunday departing at 3:30.

If you would prefer to stay near the wedding venue (if you are from Southern California and choose to only stay 1 night), we recommend this hotel. We do not have a room block, but want to provide a local recommendation!

Wedding Shuttle Service

September 4, 2022 3:30 pm - 10:00 pm

A shuttle will drive guests to/from the wedding ceremony and reception on 9/4 at 3:30 p.m. The shuttle will pick up and drop off from the Four Points Sheraton, Ventura Marriott & The Pierpont Inn. There will also be parking available at the venue. Exact times will be shared closer to the wedding. If you are local to Ventura and would like to take the bus, please take the bus from the Four Points Sheraton or The Pierpont! The Marriott bus will be full.
