The cookie table is an old Pittsburgh wedding tradition where the bride and groom's families bake cookies for the wedding reception. In a sense it is a gesture that signifies approval and support of the union. The cookies are on display at the wedding and great fuel for dancing the night away. With that being said, if you'd like to volunteer to bake cookies, please contact the cookie table queen, my Aunt Jill at jillcassidydiller@gmail.com. The more the merrier!
Your kids are pretty neat, but we want our wedding to be your night off! Call up a babysitter cause it's mom and dads night out celebrating with us.
Due to limited space, if your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes! If not, we would prefer if it was just you.
Please RSVP not later than September 24, 2022.
We're registered here on Zola, Target, and Crate and Barrel.
Cocktail attire is preferred as well as dark colors. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose. The venue is mostly outdoors and is along the river, which means that can get a little chilly at night — we recommend bringing a shawl or light jacket.
We will be doing a sit-down family style dinner. Each entree and side will be served on platters and placed in the middle of the table. Guests can pass them around and help themselves! We have plenty of options for everyone.
Please do! Just let us know when you RSVP.
We do! We have a block of rooms reserved at the TRYP by Wyndham in Lawrenceville as our primary hotel choice. We also have a block of rooms reserved at the Springhill Suites in Bakery Square. We also highly recommend Airbnb for larger groups as another alternative option.
