Matron of Honor
Childhood bestie. Secret agent partner. Fish year buddy. Study buddy. And favorite person to sit in the driveway and have deep conversations with. Sarah has basically been through it all with me. She is a beautiful and brand new mother, a strong and talented woman, a challenger and an advocate. She brings out the best in me and isn't afraid to call out the worst in me. She is a sharpening iron in my life and I am so glad we've had the chance to grow our friendship from one adventure to the next.
Maid of Honor
Biggest little sister. Partner in crime. Maddie has always been by my side, from childhood bunkmates to college bunkmates. We grew up falling in love with the outdoors, anything creative, and anything coffee. Despite our sibling spats, Maddie is truly so cherished. We have always been close enough in age to be competitive, but now I find more and more that we are complementary. I'm so thankful to have someone who understands where I come from, who shares the same interests, who is a confidant, and someone to grow with throughout life.
Maid of Honor
Bebe seester. Affectionately called "cow-cow." Craziest sibling for sure. Super dedicated & driven. Vegan. This crazy gorl was 11 when David and I met. She became our enthusiastic third-wheel, and followed us on all our dates. Early on, it was just the three of us—David, Makenzie, and Cow-Cow. We played baseball, cricket, went fishing, went stargazing, etc. At the time, Cal had an imaginary friend named Charles who liked to torture David in all her stories, haha I told you she was crazy! But truly, Callie has always made David feel welcome in the family, and I always appreciated that. She has a lighthearted spirit, but consistently dives deep in her reflections and conversations. I'm so proud of the growth she's displayed and thankful she's been a part of David and I since the beginning :)
Bridesmaid
I guess I haven't actually known EmmaKate for that long, but it feels like we've known each other forever! We met through Maddie, were camp counselors together, and became roommates while I was in nursing school. There's something about EK makes you want to be your honest self, and that often leads to great conversations, or just really weird conversations, but for sure a ton of laughter. I think everyone should have an EmmaKate around. EK definitely caters to my crazy side, which I really appreciate. We've had some good times prank calling David lol. But besides that, she challenges me to think more, exercise more, and overall livens up the room whenever she walks in. I'm so grateful that we ended up being roommates, and I hope we get to be stationed near each other someday :)
Bridesmaid
Mama of the friend group. 1 of my 4 crazy bridesmaids. Super badass law student. T-sip. Haley and I met in homeschool PE where we would maybeee see each other once a week and bond over our mediocre running abilities. After that, we would only see each other 1 or 2x a year during little league softball season when our teams played each other. SOMEHOW we always stayed friends and looked for each other on the field. As we got older, we got to hang out more with Maddie and the twins. Haley is a super genuine friend, and I cherish her in my life, even though we still rarely see each other lol. She's an incredibly hard worker, a strong woman with strong opinions, but the kindest heart and always makes me laugh. I love her so much and I'm so excited to be moving closer to her on the east coast!

Jenna and I also met through Maddie, were counselors together, and became roommates while I was in nursing school. She is quite possibly the sweetest person I've ever met, with a strong and gentle spirit, a knack for accidentally making inappropriate jokes, and a talent for bringing people together. What I love about Jenna, is that she feeds your soul and your belly at the same time lol. She's always baking something and feeding you, but also enriches your life with her kindness, her wisdom, and faith. She challenges me by example, and besides that I just love all the laughs we've shared. I forgot to mention she's a barrel racer and obviously a super patient and gentle person to be working with horses. Jenna is a keeper—I wish we could stay roommates, but alas, we're both getting married!

50% Clarkson twin, 100% an amazingly loyal friend. Rachel is also one of the sweetest people I know, but with a feisty kick lol. She is a dedicated missionary, and I think you have to have a bit of grit to do that. Talking to her is literally addicting. She brings depth to conversation, is incredibly passionate, and is a great listener. She is also inherently funny, genuine, open, and is lighthearted but so relatable. I met Rachel and her twin, Rebekah, with Madison when we were all sitting in the music school lobby waiting for piano lessons. We all started talking and then could not stop talking lol. And that's exactly how it is to this day. I love that Rachel craves adventure and quality time, and some of the best memories have been initiated by her. She's definitely a friend for life :)

The other 50% Clarkson twin and 100% an amazing and relatable friend. I obviously also met Rebekah when I met Rachel at music lessons so many years ago :') She is studying to become a nurse too, and we tend to dominate every conversation by swapping complaints about nursing school or comparing shocking clinical experiences lol. She is incredibly hard working, way more patient than I am, and the best aunt in the world to her nieces and nephew. She's also smart, confidant, and relatably sarcastic lol, but really kind at heart and works to improve the lives of those around her. Her love for the outdoors is part of why I love spending time with her (and Rachel), but also because she is just hilarious, genuine, so easy to talk to. Friend for lifey no doubt :)
