Our Engagement Story.
Christmas 2019.
Our first Christmas together. Waking up filled with joy, great food, and presents under the tree. One of the presents for Alice was in a rather large box. Opening gifts and enjoying our Christmas morning came down to the last gift to open: the mysterious big box. Eddie told Alice “The bottom of this box is cut out, so when you are ready, lift the box and your gift will be there!” One…two…three!!! Alice lifts the box and finds that there is nothing there. Eddie then stood where the box was and got down on one knee. Nervous and excited in hopes she would say “yes” to getting married Alice got down with Eddie thinking they were sitting down now. They both laughed, and she said Yes! That Christmas changed our lives forever. Then Covid hit, just three months later, and we went through an extensive remodel of our home. Finally, after 4 years of growing closer and creating our life together, we can celebrate our milestone on our big day!
