Question

How do I RSVP? When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Follow the RSVP tab and type in the name listed on your envelope. We ask that you RSVPs soon as possible but definitely before August 25th. Anyone that does not RSVP the by the 25th will unfortunately have to be considered a "will not attend," as we will be sending the final numbers and headcounts for the ones who need them.

Question

How unplugged is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

No phones are allowed during the ceremony. This is a strict rule that we have with no compromises. We understand the excitement of wanting to capture the moment, but that is exactly why we booked the photographer that we did. We encourage all who wants copies of the ceremony photos to reach out to us. We would be delighted to share the memories. During the reception we ask that you aren't on your phone and try to live in the moment, but if you see a funny or cute moment, feel free to capture it. If you are going to sit on your phone and scroll through social media, we ask that you don't stay longer than you have too as seating is limited. We are planning on having some activities to help keep you occupied, like games and a craft table for the kids.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal/church clothes. Please show up in your best dress with confidence. If you would like to have some fun with it Tolkien inspired looks are encouraged. For the ladies, the bride will be in black. With that being said, white is okay for a wedding for once and black is discouraged but not banned.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We tried to consider all the long term relationships amongst out friends and family, however, if there's someone special in your life that we forgot to account for, please reach out to one of us first to confirm.

Question

What if I have a food allergy?

Answer

Please reach out to us if you do! We don't want any tragedies that could have totally been avoided. Peanuts, certain fruits etc., let us know what it is and how severe so we don't accidentally cause a hospital stay.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We are registered through Zola for any experience based gifts and through Amazon for anything that is a physical item. Please check out our registry tab above!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As long as they are well behaved, we'd love for then to come! If you have a baby we understand that sometimes they just cry, there will be a spot one where you can go to comfort your little one announced before the ceremony begins as to not disrupt the ceremony.

Question

Is smoking or drinking allowed.

Answer

Our venue is a dry venue so alcohol cannot even be on the premises. As far as smoking goes, there are guests who can't be around cigarette smoke due to health issues. If you must sneak away for a smoke, please step farther away that you normally would and clean up after yourself.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there close parking and even closer parking for anyone that needs a handicap spot.

Question

Will it be set indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Everything will be held indoors, although we will have all the windows and doors open to invite a breeze through. For that reason, we ask that you don't wear anything heavy to avoid overheating.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We will even have a table for them to draw the bride and groom a photo if they want! However, parents, remember that you are responsible for your child. If they are causing too much of a ruckus we will unfortunately have to ask you to leave early.
