Question

How do I get to the venue, and where should I park?

Answer

Google and Apple Maps will direct you to the Lodge at Two Moons. From the turn-off at Sierra Sky Ranch, it is about 6 miles on a curvy road to the entrance of Two Moons. Turn right at the Two Moons sign, and continue on the paved road until you see a large stone and wood building. This is Moonfall Lodge! From here, veer left and follow the signs directing you to Parking Lots A and B. For the BBQ: walk back down the road to Moonfall Lodge. For the wedding ceremony: take the walking trail from Parking Lot B up to “Heartwood Forest.”

Question

What is Mountain Formal?

Answer

Think fancy dress or nice dress shirt and slacks, but with a casual mountain twist. We'd recommend shoes that you can wear to walk on dirt (wedges, block heels, or booties for ladies), and a jacket for the evening (puffy, fur, whatever keeps you warm and happy). You could also bring some comfy shoes for dancing if you'd like. Most of the event will be held outdoors, but there is an adjacent indoor lodge in case of inclement weather. You can store warm layers, extra shoes, fun costume items, etc. there if needed.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

As a general rule, we are having an adults only ceremony and reception. If you have a baby that can't be left with a sitter etc., please just reach out to us and we'll work with you to make a plan. If you are staying at Two Moons, kids are welcome on site, but we ask that you still find child care for the evening of the wedding. We can connect you with other parents arranging sitters in the area.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

All plus ones will be listed in your RSVP. Thank you for respecting our desire to keep our wedding more intimate!

Question

Can I bring my dog?

Answer

Short answer, yes! Long answer, dogs are allowed at Two Moons if you are staying on-site. However, you need to have somewhere secure for them to stay during events. Dogs can come to the Bass Lake picnic area and the winery, but must be on a leash. Also note that since Yosemite is a national park, there are a lot of restrictions around dogs.

Question

What is provided in terms of food & bev at Two Moons?

Answer

**Thursday: We will serve a BBQ dinner with fun natural wine and local beer. Please bring some additional libations to share. **Friday: No hosted food or drinks will be offered at Two Moons on Friday (we'll be off site playing most of the day!) There is not a bar or market on site, so bring everything you need for coffee, campfire cocktails, etc. **Saturday: Guests are on their own for breakfast and lunch. At the wedding, we will have some yummy welcome cocktails and apps, followed by dinner and an open bar with wine and beer. Cocktails will still to be available for purchase throughout the evening. **Sunday: a casual brunch will be provided for guests staying at Two Moons. Come by and grab a plate before check out at 11am.

Question

Is there cell service?

Answer

There is NO cell service at the venue and nearby area. There is wifi available in the main lodge if you need it.
