We'll kick off the weekend with an ode to the events that started it all: the Annual Cowboy Poetry Gathering and the Lost Sierra Hoedown. Come say hello for a casual BBQ supper. Sundown beckons an open mic jubilee featuring poetry, music and any other talents you might like to share. Step right up, don’t be shy! Please bring your own libations to share with new friends and a camp chair if you've got one. Attire: Western if you wanna. Note: If you're driving up from town, use the larger parking lots and then follow signs to walk down to Moonfall Lodge.

Bass Lake Hang Out

Recreation Point: "Cove" & "Oak Point" Picnic Sites,
We've reserved 2 big picnic areas on Bass Lake! Before arriving, each car will need to purchase a day-use parking pass at the visitor station ($10, located right across the street). There will be a pontoon boat and a few kayaks so we can take turns enjoying the water. Bring lunch, refreshments, and floaties! 🚣♂️ Note: Mountain bikers will meet at the picnic area at 9:30am and then bike to the trailhead from there. Winery Gathering

Enjoy local wine, bluegrass music, and light bites at this creekside winery. They only have around 30 parking spots in their lot, so please designate a driver and carpool if you can!! There is overflow parking on Highway 41. Attire: Casual wine tasting garb. The event will be held outdoors.

The main event! Our ceremony will start at 4pm, followed by food, drinks, and boot stompin' under the stars. Please arrive 20 minutes early to park and get settled. Attire: Mountain Formal- fancy clothes that make you feel good, and can withstand dirt floors and chilly evenings. No stilettos, yes jackets :) Check the weather for Fish Camp, CA for the most accurate forecast at the venue. Feel free to break out your furs, wigs, and sequins for the dance party! 🕺 Considerations: We ask that kiddos and doggos don't join the ceremony or reception.
