Our ceremony will take place outdoors shortly before sunset, on the waterfront behind the reception venue, weather permitting. North Carolina is still fairly warm this time of year; however we recommend you bring a light wrap or jacket in case you're prone to a chill.
When you arrive to the Angus Barn, follow the parking directions for The Pavilion. There is ample complimentary parking outside of The Pavilion. If you would like to leave your car overnight after the reception, the venue requests that all guest cars be retrieved by 12 noon the following day.
Please reach out to Madison or Peter. The venue has provided Club Car transportation for anyone who may need assistance getting down to the venue site. The entire venue is wheelchair accessible.
Yes, we are! We ask you to join us in being fully present by putting away all your electronic devices prior to the start of the ceremony. We have a fabulous photographer for our special day, and will be sure to share the virtual album after our wedding. As for the reception, the more photos the better! We can't wait to see you bust out your moves and take some pictures to remember.
Formal invitations will include a dietary restriction card for each guest. If you have a special diet (vegan, gluten free, vegetarian) or a food allergy (shellfish, peanuts, treenuts, gluten, etc.), please be sure to mark it on your card. Alternatively, you can reach out to Madison to let her know.
To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we respectfully ask that no children attend the reception unless specifically named on your family's invitation card.
We do! Please take a peek at our registry tab here on our wedding site!
We appreciate your generosity in celebrating our nuptials. If you are traveling from out of town, especially by plane, we encourage you to send any gifts in advance.
