Enjoy the award-winning collection of Belhurst Estate wines, Mabel’s Oat Soda Co. craft beer and Mabel’s Oat Soda Co. hard cider! Their tasting room is right in the middle of their two hotel properties (steps away from your hotel room). Please make sure to enjoy this fun part of our wedding weekend!
55 WINERIES ON SENECA LAKE! The largest collection of wineries in New York! This is the address for their headquarters for the Seneca Wine Trail! But you can find a map at most local stores! We'll probably go to a few of these on Saturday afternoon!
Only 2 hours to the US side of Niagara Falls, 2 hours 15 minutes to Canadian side, and 2.5 hours to Niagara-on-the-lake (charming town, highly recommend!) from Belhurst! Don't forget to bring your US Passport if going to the Canadian side!
We have never been there, but wow! Look at that picture! We're heard rave reviews about the hiking and views of this place! There are also a lot of other great parks, waterfalls, and hiking in the area!
We may be doing something like this on Saturday, but if not, it's a lot of fun! You learn a lot about the history of Seneca Lakes and the Finger Lakes Region!
This is listed as a must for the Finger Lakes, and we keep meaning to go! Such a cool experience if you're in the area!
Another great park with breathtaking waterfalls! A little farther away from Geneva, NY.
FOR THE KIDS (If tagging along on your vacation) - From "Sesame Street," board games, dolls and books to the latest electronic games, the museum is home to the world's most comprehensive toy collection. Interactive exhibits include a replica Wegmans grocery store – where kids can shop and use a cash register – and an area devoted to the history of vehicles, from trucks and trains to planes and boats. Many recent visitors, as well as local residents, call this interactive facility a "gem" and a great place to take kids and grandkids, saying it's great for children ages 2 to 10. Some parents recommend bringing drinks and snacks (you can picnic on museum grounds or dine in a designated area in the museum) and several say the butterfly conservatory is worth the extra money.
Located in Rochester, this facility – the world's oldest museum of photography and one of the oldest film archives – is housed within the former estate of George Eastman, a photography and film pioneer.
