Men - Coat and Tie. Women - Cocktail dress, Pantsuit, Floor-length dress, etc.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation includes "and guest" then absolutely! If not, we would prefer it was just you.

How should we fill the gap between ceremony and reception?

Answer

Grosse Pointe has 3 downtown areas with bars and restaurants. Some of our favorites include: 1. The Charlevoix in downtown Grosse Pointe Park - great drinks and small plates. 2. Flyleaf on “The Hill” in Grosse Pointe Farms - cozy bookstore, bar and cafe. 3. Whiskey Six in “The Village” in Grosse Pointe - good bar food with great craft cocktails.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

When you RSVP through our website, there will be a section you can fill out including any allergies or dietary restrictions you may have.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, both the ceremony at St. Paul on the Lake and the reception at the Country Club of Detroit have large parking lots. The Country Club of Detroit will have a valet service as well if desired.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

With most of our guests staying locally in Airbnb’s, we will not be offering a shuttle service. Thank you for understanding!
