For those wishing to go for a nice scenic walk, run or bike ride, the hike and bike trail (or formally Torrey C. Brown Trail) runs from Hunt Valley/Cockeysville, MD to Pennsylvania. The trail is located on what was the the Northern Central Railway, built in 1832, which ran between Baltimore, Maryland, and Sunbury, Pennsylvania, and was one of the oldest rail lines in the country. The entrance to the trail is just 5-10 minutes away from the Hunt Valley hotels.

The Pennsylvania Dutch Market is an authentic, indoor Amish market with a bakery, deli and other food stands. They also sell homemade furniture and other goods. It is a 10 minute walk or 3 minute drive from Hunt Valley area hotels.
Baltimore is one of Maryland's major cities. It is where Rob and Maddie live and spend most of their time. Baltimore is 20 minutes from the BWI airport, a 45 minute drive, or an hour light rail ride away from Hunt Valley. It has several great and historic neighborhoods to visit, including Federal Hill, the Inner Harbor, Fells Point and Mt. Vernon. Maddie and Rob's favorite activities including walking around the city, trying out new area restaurants, going to Orioles baseball games and attending the many great events they have in the city. Popular sites to visit include Fort McHenry, the National Aquarium, the Inner Harbor, Camden Yards (where the Orioles play) or local museums, such as the Walters or Baltimore Museum of Art (both free). Driving or Ubering are Maddie and Rob's usual routes to the city, but the light rail is also a public transportation option.
