Approx 30min train from Rapallo to one of the Cinque Terre cities.
These are 5 gorgeous small fishing villages that you can hike between or take short train rides and relax on the beaches and enjoy excellent restaurants. This is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Italy, so we recommend booking your train tickets ahead of time (1-2 days before).

Cinque Terre

Beautiful gardens and viewpoints, excellent restaurants. The most posh spot in Liguria!
Approx. 1 hr by walking from Santa Margherita Ligure; 20 min bus; ferry (15 min) or taxi (expensive) all can be taken easily from city centre.

Portofino

One of our favourite spots in the area! Amazing beach to spend the day on, nice walks in Portofino Park and great food. One of our favourite spots is Ostaia da ö Sigù right along the main boardwalk.
Approx 10 min train ride from Rapallo.
