Jillian is the Maid of Honor and only sibling to Maddie. When the girls were younger, Jillian was very shy and Maddie would speak for her and make decisions for her. Now that they are older, Jillian is no longer shy and now helps Maddie make her decisions and speaks enough for the both of them.
Jordan Kirkland
Best Man
Jordan and Zach met at Jordan's birth, and have been the best of friends for at least a portion of the time since! But in all seriousness, Jordan is everything Zach can ask for in a brother, Best Man, and sometimes what seems like a son. For better or worse they seem to do everything together, and thats just how they like it.
Kristi Schweigert

Kristi and Maddie met when they were 3 years old at ICRS Preschool. Moms Carol and Barb decided to set a playdate for the girls, as Kristi needed help coming out of her shell and Maddie had abandoned her shell when she learned to speak. Kristi is a lifelong friend to Maddie and an honorary daughter to Mark and Barb.
Mackenzie Cobb

Zach and Mack have been best buds since the 7th grade at Northwood Middle School. Since then their hobbies have transitioned from playing sports and general semi-legal teen mischief, to watching sports and legally drinking beers. Many beers. Mack is as down to earth as they come, when he's not jumping out of planes of course.
Molly Artz

Molly and Maddie met in 2011 after both joining the sorority Alpha Gamma Delta at UW. Their friendship has grown over the years, and now the girls talk everyday (Zach says "mostly about nothing"). Molly knew Zach in middle school and high school and was there the first time Maddie saw Zach!
Alex Ybarra

Alex (Tim) and Zach also met in the 7th grade and loved to spend time doing..... whatever it is 7th graders like to do. What started as loitering in and around Fairwood and in his parents basement graduated to driving around town in his 4Runner, to now going fishing in their shared boat. Zach and Alex have some of the most fun doing basically nothing.
Kelsey Hummel

Kelsey started dating Jordan Kirkland about 3 months before Maddie and Zach started dating. The 4 have been inseparable ever since! Kelsey and Maddie can usually be found cooking, cleaning, and looking after the boys, or beating the boys in pairs Cribbage. Kelsey and Jordan were present for Maddie and Zach's engagement, and then vice-versa! Kelsey is now a future Sister-in-Law to Maddie.
Axl Snure
Groomsman
Zach and Axl, and I'm beginning to notice a trend here, also met in 7th grade. Axl always was the bearded and much needed voice of reason in the group. Whether we ever listened to his sage cautious advice or if it pushed us to further reckless extremes is an entirely different discussion. Axl is now a clean shaven pilot living in Montana, but when they're together its like he never left.
Kendall Archer

Maddie and Kendall met in 2011 after both joining the sorority Alpha Gamma Delta at UW. The girls have grown closer through the years and both enjoy reading, quiet time, being Aquariuses (it's a real word, I checked), and the occasional boxed wine. Kendall was there the night that Maddie and Zach met!
Trent Davis

Zach and Trent first met in, wait for it.... the 7th grade!! Since Trent was first to get his drivers license, we all took advantage of him taking us on adventures from Sonic to the mountain slopes and everywhere in between. Trent and Zach wrapped up high school playing rugby together, but afterwards Trent went down a dark path to WSU. Like many cougars he still hasn't finished college, but don't be alarmed, the peace corps and graduate school will do that to a man.
Kelsey Kirkland

Maddie and Kelsey met through Zach in 2015. Their first extended hang out was on a cruise through the Mexican Rivera, so how could they not hit it off? Kelsey has been traveling since then, to Michigan for grad school and then has been in Mexico for almost two years with the Peace Corps. Kelsey and Maddie are similar in their empathetic nature and love of family and friends, which is perfect since they will be family soon!
Billy Johnson

Billy and Zach did NOT meet in the 7th grade, but rather on their 6th grade baseball team (Go Reds). Soon after Billy decided it would be a good idea to attend Zach's rival middle school, so their friendship took a short hibernation until high school. At Kentridge they shared in lots of common misery and starvation on the wrestling team. Since then Zach has climbed several weight classes and Billy is..... still shredded.
