Matron of Honor and Big Sister
Julie and I met in 1992 at the hospital when she became my big sister. Between teaching me many important life skills, including the macarena, scrapbooking, and how NOT to use Mapquest for a roadtrip, we have shared a lifetime of great memories. I served as Julie's Maid of Honor and am thrilled to now have my big sister as my Matron of Honor! • Julie can probably be found at the wedding: fixing the decorations and taking extra pictures to scrapbook later • Will be at the bar ordering: sweet tea or a peach margarita
Best Man
Jacob is one of the best brothers you could ask for. He is selfless, caring, and always goes above and beyond on anything he wants to do. I wouldn't want anyone else standing by my side on the big day.
Bridesmaid
Adriana and I met in medical school, and the first few times Jeremy and I hungout were at Adriana's house. Between living in Nashville as medical students, spending time downtown in wigs, talking Mean Girls and Lilly Pulitzer with Macy, and bro-ing out with Jeremy and his friends, we always have a great time with Adriana. • Adriana can probably be found at the wedding: drinking whiskey and talking sports with the groomsmen. She can probably lift more than them too. • Will be at the bar ordering: see above
Groomsman
Chris has always helped me achieve my goals in life. Between going to college, then medical school, and finally residency, Chris has been there to help every step of the way. It only makes sense for him to be a part of this life event too.
Bridesmaid
Becca and I met in medical school and bonded over growing up in Knoxville and going to UT. Becca and I quickly became friends after she bought me a vintage 3Spoons t-shirt. She is an expert at finding me when I'm lost with a classic "what do you see around you?" text. Becca is one of the most thoughtful and joyful people I know, and I am thrilled to have her as part of our wedding day! • Becca can probably be found at the wedding: making everyone laugh, asking other residents in attendance if they like rounding too • Will be at the bar ordering: whatever DW's having
Groomsman
Matt and I met at Holy Rosary about 19 years ago. He is known for many things: having a firm grasp of currency conversion rates, being a smart gambler, having incredible martial arts abilities, and tolerating alcohol well enough as if he appears completely sober on nights out. He is also known for being a good friend and is a must for the wedding party.
Bridesmaid
Brittany is the Christina Yang to my Meredith Grey as one of my ER co-residents. Between boozy picnics, Halloween parties, trying all of the new places in Baton Rouge, a mutual love of baking, prosecco at Outback Steakhouse, and lots of venting about work, Brittany has kept me sane since the beginning of residency. We are so happy she is joining us on our special day! • Brittany can probably be found at the wedding: talking about how Southern weddings are much different than West Coast weddings • Will be at the bar ordering: lots of bubbly and asking me to chambong
Groomsman
Daniel and I met at JP2 almost 15 years ago. After bumping into each other when watching 300 at Opry Mills, we have been good friends ever since. While he can occasionally get angry enough to tell off boarder patrol, he is usually a cool dude to split a bag of milk with.
Bridesmaid
Courtney and I met the first day of medical school and sat together in class every day for two years. We bonded over a mutual love of Emergency Medicine, cats, wine and Mexican food. We've shared so many great memories together, including too much fun at Keeneland, her bachelorette in Montreal, staying up until 3am the night before her wedding ordering room service, and learning how to do procedures together in medical school. I was honored to serve as Courtney's Maid of Honor and am thrilled to have her in our wedding party. • Courtney can probably be found at the wedding: asking the DJ if she can sing karaoke and trying to find some pasta • Will be at the bar ordering: red wine for her and a Tom Collins for her husband, Zach
Groomsman
Ryan and I were roommates at UT. Over the years, I have learned that Ryan is able to pull some great pranks on his friends, fly an airplane pretty well, and can organize bro trips like a champ. He is most well known for creating alcohol tier lists and being a fierce trivia competitor.
Bridesmaid
Hailey and I met in medical school where she was Jeremy's neighbor. We became close friends third and fourth year during our rotations in Franklin through wig nights, dinner parties, being Women of Williamson, one eventful Italian festival, Match Day celebrations, being our honorary third wheel, and part-time roomie. Hailey always has my back, is the friend I go to when I need honest advice, and even kept me from taking an Uber from Nashville to Kansas once. We can't wait to celebrate our special day with Hailey! • Hailey can probably be found at the wedding: giving out unsolicited skincare advice and helping Taylor handle any situations • Will be at the bar trying to order: shots (yep, she's that friend)
Groomsman
Frazier and I were roommates back at UT. During those years, I learned that Frazier is a caring person who loves all sorts of animals including his dog Daryl, his duck Miss Pickle, and his multiple nameless pet rocks. Although he currently lives in California, he has yet to move to a 100% vegan diet.
Bridesmaid
Kelsei and I met freshman year at UT as members of Zeta and taking science classes together. Between burning our organic chem notes in a back alley before graduation, many nights out in Cincinnati, being a bridesmaid in her blizzard wedding, and FaceTime happy hours, Kelsei has been there for me throughout everything. I'm so happy to have her stand by my side for the wedding. • Kelsei can probably be found at the wedding: Dancing with Sweet Joey and keeping all of the bridesmaids organized • Will be at the bar ordering: a glass of red wine or champagne
Groomsman
James is Macy's brother-in-law and the big brother Macy never had. From family beach trips to football parties to wrangling Tyson and Payton, James and Macy always find something to laugh about. We are thrilled to have James stand by our side for the big day.
Bridesmaid
Pooja and I met in medical school and got to know each other during a long road trip to Cleveland, Ohio. After being our honorary roommate during part of our time in Nashville, making me do barre class with a broken arm, watching too many cheesy Christmas movies, and eating many hot chicken meals, Pooja was an obvious choice to ask to stand by us on our wedding day. • Pooja can probably be found at the wedding: sneaking in a nap between the ceremony and reception • Will be at the bar ordering: extra hot chicken appetizers
Groomsman
Tyson is Macy's nephew and favorite guy (besides Jeremy!) We can't imagine our wedding day without Tyson as part of our wedding party • Tyson can be found at the wedding: checking the score of whatever game is on that night
Bridesmaid
Taylor and I met at UT-Knoxville and were Zeta sorority sisters. Between serving in Kelsei's bridal party, visiting DC, Louisiana, and Cincinnati regularly together, filming Taylor dancing on the Monorail, trying to convince Taylor she doesn't need to buy ten pairs of denim shorts at a time, many car troubles, texting nonstop in our group chat, and Taylor handing out Jell-o shots to strangers in Disney (pre-Covid!), Taylor is always making Macy laugh and have the best time. We are lucky to have such a wonderful and caring friend in our lives! • Taylor can probably be found at the wedding: acting as the Olivia Pope of the wedding. No matter the situation, she handles it. • Will be at the bar ordering: a Pickleback (Will that even be an option?)
Flower Girl
Payton is Macy's niece and favorite girl! We can't wait to have Payton serve as our flower girl. • Payton can be found at the wedding: teaching everyone the latest TikTok dance
Ring Bearer
Collin and Charlie are Macy's cousins and the coolest little dudes. We can't wait to see them walk down the aisle as our ring bearers! • Collin and Charlie can probably be found at the wedding: looking for critters in the garden!
