Jeremy and I celebrated our engagement at this beautiful winery just south of Nashville. The views and wine can't be beaten. BYO picnic or purchase one there!
Paddywax Candle Bar
Candle pouring in the vessel and scent of your choice by Paddywax candles. You can BYOB and pick three hours after your class. This would be a really fun activity before dinner! No reservations are required for this downtown location, but they do have a second location outside of downtown. Macy's favorite souvenir is a candle made while traveling to bring back home! We recommend the lemon, pumpkin, and fire scents.
Hattie B's Hot Chicken - Melrose Nashville, TN
You can't come to Nashville without trying hot chicken! There is a lot of debate over the best place, but we love Hattie B's. All of their locations are great!
Hidden Bar at Noelle
A really fun and often themed speakeasy at the Noelle hotel. They also have a fantastic rooftop bar with views of downtown Nashville called Rare Bird. To find the speakeasy, go to the basement floor and look for a staircase!
HQ Beercade Nashville
Jeremy and Macy have spent a little too much time at this arcade bar where the games are free. They're always changing the interior with themed decorations and accompanying cocktails.
Parnassus Books
Macy's favorite bookstore, which is owned by Ann Patchett. Pick up a book for your travel home!
White Limozeen
The coolest new rooftop bar in Nashville at one of our recommended hotels. The interior is pink and Dolly Parton themed. Reservations required!

The Catbird Seat
If you want to treat yourself while visiting Nashville, make a reservation (30 days in advance on their website) at this James Beard-nominated restaurant. The menu is always a surprise, and the food is phenomenal. Macy and Jeremy celebrated taking their third-year board exam in medical school here. Yes, you should add the drink pairing. Stop by the Patterson House next door.
The Food Company
Macy's favorite local place to grab a healthy lunch. Their tomato soup is the BEST. Conveniently located in Green Hills. For a great afternoon, visit here for lunch and other nearby places on this list, including Parnassus Books, Dry House, Green Hills Mall, and Cheekwood.
Cheekwood
Our wedding venue! You'll get to stroll through some of the gardens at the wedding, but if you'd like to see all of the gorgeous gardens and mansion, visit during the daytime!
Pastaria
Jeremy and Macy's favorite date night spot. Their pizza dough and pastas are made fresh daily. Don't skip the arancini or dessert! Also an excellent brunch choice for Sunday morning.
Husk
A meal at James Beard award-winning Husk is hard to beat! Sean Brock serves elevated Southern food at its finest, and their menu changes daily. Go for lunch for a deal and a burger that can't be missed. Get reservations!
Adele's
Delicious food and top-notch service from Chef Jonathan Waxman. Jeremy and Macy celebrated Jeremy's 26th birthday here. Don't skip the roasted chicken and potatoes with salsa verde. They also have an exceptional brunch buffet if you're feeling extra hungry Sunday morning.
The Dry House
Treat yourself to a pre-wedding blowout at Dry House, Macy's favorite place to get a blowout. Unfortunately, she became a blowout expert after breaking her arm in the middle of residency interview season.

One of Macy's new favorites for a great and authentic French dinner. Get the steak frites!
